Meet the Owner

For Dorian Grace, fashion has never been just about clothing—it has always been about experience, storytelling, and the emotional connection between a woman and what she wears.

With more than two decades in the fashion industry, Dorian has built a career that spans some of the most influential spaces in retail—from corporate buying offices and major department stores to celebrity-driven global brands and boutique entrepreneurship.

Her journey began at the Saks Fifth Avenue corporate buying office, where she developed an early understanding of the intricate balance between luxury merchandising, consumer behavior, and the art of retail curation. It was there that she began cultivating the discerning eye and strategic approach that would define her career.

Dorian went on to become a wholesale sales executive for several iconic celebrity brands during their cultural peak. In these roles, she managed relationships with major department store partners and drove sales volume exceeding multi-million-dollar sales across national retail channels, gaining firsthand insight into how brands scale, influence culture, and connect with consumers.

Her career also includes experience as a buyer for Macy’s, where she sharpened her expertise in merchandising strategy, product development, and trend forecasting at one of the largest retail platforms in the world.

But for Dorian, the ultimate vision extended beyond corporate success.

Driven by her passion for fashion and the desire to create a more intimate retail experience, she launched DLUX Boutique, which she owned and operated for eight years with locations in Englewood, New Jersey and Chicago. Through DLUX, she cultivated a loyal clientele by blending curated fashion with personalized service—an approach that would become the foundation of her brand philosophy.

Today, that philosophy evolves into D. Grace.

D. Grace represents the culmination of Dorian’s decades of industry knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit, and belief that luxury should feel personal, expressive, and attainable. The brand reflects her signature approach to style: thoughtfully curated collections, elevated service, and pieces that empower individuals to express themselves with confidence.
